Instructor Bio Ben is a Certified USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor covering training including the following areas: Developing Personal and Home Protection Plan Self-Defense Firearms Basics Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Legal Use of Force Deadly Encounters and the Aftermath Gear & Gadgets Basic & Advance Skills Additionally Ben is certified by the following national firearms organizations: National Rifle Association (NRA) - Certified Pistol Instructor The Liberal Gun Club (LGC) - Certified Pistol Instructor Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) - Certified Range Officer Level I Ben received pistol training at the Sig Sauer Academy in Epping, New Hampshire and at Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Goshen, NY where he completed the full curriculum of the “Civilian Tactical Handgun Training” which concluded with shooting the New York State Law Enforcement Course of Fire with a 96% proficiency. Ben is a member of the following national firearms organizations; the Liberal Gun Club (LGC), the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA), the National Rifle Association (NRA) and locally a member of the Hudson Valley Nubian Gun Club (HVNGC). Ben's goal is to contribute to the Second Amendment community by working to demystify the prevailing firearms narrative as it relates to historically underserved and marginalized communities such African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Asian-Americans, LBGTQ, Women, recent immigrants and politically left-leaning Americans. The right to self-defense is a natural right in all living things; from plants, to animals, and to human beings. Ben currently works fulltime as a BPO Senior Account Manager for a major BPO company and teach Firearms Safety on weekends.
